Yukisoundscape is an ambient and post-classical project operating between the silences of Karuizawa and the friction of Tokyo. Led by a composer and musician who blends sampled environmental textures with organic instrumentation—strings, guitar, and digital spatial processing—the project seeks the “cold structure” hidden beneath beautiful surfaces.

Drawing inspiration from the tension between nature and technology, Yukisoundscape treats sound not as a passive backdrop, but as a solvent that dissolves the boundaries of memory. The current work, including the album project “Lake Yamanaka,” explores the distortion of place, rearranging reality into fragmented, unrecognizable forms that demand a direct confrontation from the listener.
